We have all grabbed our rods and thrown them in the bucket to make the mad dash off the ice at the end of the day, only to find out that the next time we find our selves back out on the ice our lure is gone, tied in a knot around the rod or stuck to the back of our coats.
to solve this problem, use a bread twisty tie, when the line is reeled in, twist the tie around the shank of the hook against the rod. Problem solved.
