if you all are talking Daniels or Treasureton. I see that bass and my heart dropped!
And not directed to you Euge136 as that first line was totally a joke, but I have caught some nice Trout out of Daniels, and like all the other lakes, the seasons changing did effect it. So does illegal harvesting.
I remember camping there and noticing a car with two men pulling up by our camp. I was out on the water so I watched to see if it was anyone I know or something to be concerned about.
Both men went into the long grass along the shore. I then noticed them running back to the care every now and then.
I cruised a little closer to shore and got a good look at one catch a fish (using bait) and running it back to his car.
I then yelled at them then radioed my guys out on the water. I couldn't under stand what the two on shore where saying as I don't speak Spanish, but they were "smart" enough to park with trunk facing the lake. Right under that trunk, a License Plate. Oh did I mention I carry binoculars on my boat.
I can't be sure but I am betting there was a happy ending to this "ONE" time.
Just want to say, that Lake is watched, if not by the officials, then by people that love and respect it.
