I was reading from the BASS nation magazine that a good winter lure is a jig head, skirt or no skirt, with a crawdad trailer and find a rocky spot and bounce it inbetween the rocks, because during the winter the bass stay around the rocky areas that are deeper in the water, are 10+ ft depth if i remember right, and they feed on the crawdads that come in and out of the cracks between the rocks. work it slowly, bass wont chase it this time a year.
