Help needed, ice fishing in the Boise area
#12

Thanks for all your comments guys, he does not have a snowmobile or 4wheeler and wants to ice fish the local area, so from the sounds of it, Cascade would be the best to try, unless the temp continues to freeze the lakes or ponds closer. I'm not really familiar with most of those locations mentioned but I'm sure he is. Thanks again to everyone that responded.

CJ Strike is closer than Cascade and a lot better roads
But Cascade has bigger purch and trout.
maybe bigger perch-but lacks the numbers, I went too CJ yesterday for 5 hours and caught 50 perch and 1 crappie all over 10" most right at 11"

trout now that's a toss up, there are big trout in that lake...

I was right there with Matt yesterday and I was with Mike on Saturday. That lake is filled to the brim with fat perch and there are some monster trout in there. Y'all can have Cascade...leave CJ to me Wink
