Help needed, ice fishing in the Boise area

i live in meridian and i dont think there is any place in the boise area with thick ice i know arrowrock and luck peak dont freeze up to thick if at all i have fished arrowrock form the bank alot in the winter and do well catching rainbows cascade or camas is your closet bet for good ice fishing i have been thinking about checking out duff pond and seeing if the ice is thick to walk on yet it has been cold here the past few days and it is going to get really cold for like three days might have to go check out all the local ponds just for fun also the boise river can be good in the winter
