Chesterfield ice tourney.
#61
After reading this post all day about all the cussing discussing and criticizing I decided to throw my two cents in.
I am neither for or against tourneys. It would be nice to win a little something extra participating in something I enjoy and would already be doing. The fact of the mater is at least 25 percent or more of the people that would attend the event would fish that awesome body of water at least one during the year.
Most tourneys are sponsored to raise money for a cause or orginization. This one is not the case this is not the case. There is a lot of talk about how much the winner could make or what great prizes there could be. The fact of the matter is that is what gets people interested. Where this event is held at such a great place that ovousally so many people are passionate about a portion of the entry fee should go to the idaho fish and game so they can continue to maintain and enhance chesterfield for our future and our kids future. It would allow us the opertunity for a lunker trout next year or the following year. That would be a prize worth fishing for.
