[quote Idaho]The ISU tourney even had a better pay out dollar for dollar. "1st place will get 25% of pot, 2nd 15% of pot, and 3rd 10% of pot. There will also be a raffle for donated outdoor and fishing gear, discounts, and gift certificates from local businesses".
The ISU annual tournament at Chesterfield was canceled because of the low water conditions on the reservoir. This was a decision from someone that actual lives in Idaho. A local decsion was made in Idaho not to have the tourney this year for what ever reason.
Now we have a guy from Utah putting on the Chesterfield tourney? Taking the proceeds to Utah, Buying the prizes in Utah, Supporting Utah and himself..
If this tourney is not about you making a buck. Than donate your time and money back to the Original Organization That supports a cause in Idaho.
Kinda, seems weird to me you can go to another State. Send in some money to F&G. Have a tournament. Pocket some cash. And, drive back to the State you are from.

OMG Idaho. Not everyone that lives in Idaho or in Utah is a local. I think you would really be surprised to see how many people run your state that are not born and raised.
Utah pays plenty to Idaho every year and vise versa. It's called "The United States of American" Not "the United States Of Idaho".
Sorry for the hi-jack but this thinking is so wrong on every level.
Now about the tournament. you all are saying, it is not uncommon to see 150 people out on Chesterfield on any given "DAY". I don't think I have seen that many on one day in the summer is all I am saying.
I agree with Jeremy however. I do feel the mortality will greatly increase. The only ones that will be given tlc will be the prize offering fish.
But, also agree one tournament won't kill a lake, just might not be a great choice with the lake being so far down.
