That is way cool you got some hands on help. But that was a few years ago.
I know Damon very well and he is a shoot from the hip kinda guy.

Things have change in this short of time, however. Again, common sense, plus eyes tell you this.
Again, I am not one to say ice fishing has ruined the lake, but in the same breath has ice fishing HELPED the lake? Records aren't telling us this either.

The stocking and the naturals have not helped and I have said time and time again, Keep those fish.

Yes they are stocking for the extra pressure. I was lucky to catch a Brook 5 to 7 years ago, but now a days it is hard not to catch one.

I could hook at least one 28" or better on every trip back in Damon days. I do wish they would go back to the earlier closing but I will extend that a little to the second one of closing the end of November. The 24 hour doesn't really bother me either.
Not that I am anti ice fishing, but the changes made for the ice fishing in my opinion is when shizz hit the fan.

I do respect everyone's opinion opinion here as I don't know you. Onlyone could be a head biologist for all I know, but I do think what this person has brought to the discussion to be pretty dead on.
