Does anyone read my posts, cause you have basically repeated everything I said.[crazy][crazy]
The problem I see with your first paragraph is that last year they were checking????? One year tells all???? that is ridiculous, don't you think.
They keep saying they need several years of stats. I would think the second year as important if not more so than the first year.
Knowing the life span of the trout of around four years then what has happened to them.
From the people that fish that lake on a regular basis and some make there living fishing that lake, the 3 to 4 year olds are rare. Why?
Granted, all lakes go through cycles. The Algae Bloom, the Drought, both can rob the lake of a specific year.
I do know people that were present for the gill netting and it "might" not be quite the same as what the F&G reported.
The lake is growing in popularity big time and yes that increases the pressure, but again, with all the pressure, where are those 3/4 year olds?
I have talked to the people in charge on numerous occasions and I do feel they are telling me what they are told to say. Either that or all sorts of changes have happened to that lake since Damon.
Common sense can play a big part here.
