as BlueCollarComedy guys would put it, "here's your sign!"

There was a discussion last year about leaving a tent out on a lake. Utah Lake was the target site.
I gather in more severe arctic areas - where they setup sheds/cabins - not just tents - they do camp a spot.
I know personally - if a vacant tent was left on a spot, and no one was home - I'd have NO hesititation to setup right next door. If the folks showed up - I'd say hey, and might consider moving at that point, but as said - the lakes are public.
to RPF - did you see on the off-topic board? Flygoddess has your ice-bike system worked out!

I don't know about you, but when I'm fishing I'm usually pretty busy. But maybe you'd wanna bring a cord of wood and setup a campfire, get out the marshmallows and get cozy.[:p]
Personally - I've found precooking the chili, or perch chowder - and loading up a soup thermos works well.
Though there are some propane heaters that'll double as a stove top.
One tip - if you aren't watching your rod, you're missing bites, and losing the de-bait. And if you're not getting bites, then check your bait.
