First off, welcome to the site.
The short answer to your question is, you need to charge them daily. You might be ok for a couple of days, depending on how much you use your elec trolling motor but it is always better to charge them daily if you are near a power source, especially in cold weather. If you are getting a new boat, just get an on board battery charger, much easier than hooking up a portable unit every time you want to charge your batteries.
