its possible there are some holes that way that could very well hold some big bows.. but my experience bows that size out of the portneuf are pretty beat and ugly.. and log up real fast. here is a picture of a 21" bow out of the portneuf and this is an exception for looks.. this one came out close to mccammon. on a mepps agila brass #1
