8-10 pound trout from mccammon to inkom its possible but not very many the majority being 1-3 pounds and smaller. i grew up in mccammon and fished allot of the area. there is some prime fishing spots but allot of it is private land. ive scene a couple around 6-7 pounds but they were old ugly browns. biggest rainbows ive scene out of the portneuf down low ive caught and they still were only around 3 pounds at biggest. no doubt there are some bigger fish but there far few and in between.
I have attached a picture of a pretty typical sized brown from portneuf.
