My friends and I were the crazy ones fishing Staley yesterday and today. Believe it or not we were fishing on 5 1/2 inches of ice. Last year we were fishing there at Staley on over 18 inches of ice and there was still open water at the beginning of Staley. Fishing was good both days even though we got soaked today as well. Biggest fish were in the 3 to 4 pound range. Landed 39 yesterday and 30 today. Good mix of hybrids and brookies.
