Fishing has been good the past few weeks. Santa came early last week and brought me a new rod and reel and its a good one. It caught fish both days I used it. 
Got one keeper Friday afternoon and another Saturday morning. The female was 26" and the male 30". I caught them both up-river from Salmon. I was using a black jig tipped with shrimp under a float. Sunday was just too windy and rainy for me to go out so I stayed home and kept close to the fire.
