Bucket Mouths in the Fall
#22
[cool]Hey, Slayer, welcome from Colorado. I used to live near you, in Lakewood, and dunked my donut on a lot of the front range ponds over there.

You are right. Natural colored tubes and grubs are pretty effective a good part of the year. But, There can be some good topwater action both in the spring and in the fall, as the water temperatures move through those transition stages.

Minnows are legal in some areas, but not in others. And, it is really amazing as you go around the country what the hot lures or baits are in different waters...different times of the year.

I did some pretty good damage on Chatfield over there, as well as Pueblo and some private lakes. Where do you like to fish most? And, if you are a tubeaholic, what kind of craft do you launch?
