I stopped by the State Park around noon and there were three different groups on the ice. There were two people about 25 yards off the ramp, believe it or not, with a 6 wheeled ATV on the ice. I think it might have been one of types that float?? There were three guys fishing off the point and one individual walking out toward the slough, which looked to be open water. I people I spoke with said there was about 4 inches but there was a lot of water on the ice. It rained most of the day up here and the temperature at 6 AM was 36 degrees so no ice was made lately. One person told me there was only about two inches at Staley's. It is now 9:30 PM and the temperature is 34 degrees. Coler weather is forcast for the end of the week. Be careful if you go out.
