[#000000]Got to tow the boat out to the lake this morning. What a night and day difference. The truck towed the boat like a champ. 100 times more enjoyable of a drive. Used a pinch more gas than I would of in the Yukon but the power was 20x better. No more shift, shift, shift. More or less I couldn't even tell the boat was back there. I really never felt it. I set the cruise and kicked back. Ran 6th gear almost the whole way in tow haul mode. The Yukon used 2nd through 5th the[/#000000][#000000] whole way out here. 6th was out of the question. Just a struggle. [/#000000]

[#000000]The HID headlights are the BOMB. Pretty sweet Ford started offering them for 2013.
On the way home I came up on a truck/boat going 45-50 in the 55 area just west of the ranger pay station on Mead going to NLV. A passing lane was approaching and clear for the pass... I floored it for the first time. I immediately jumped off the gas. Spooked me. lol I never ever would of expected that kind of jump, especially with a trailer/boat behind me. I rolled into it the next attempt. HAHA. I went from 45 to OMG before I passed his boat. I was off the throttle and coasting before I even passed the tow vehicle. Very nice!
I was hoping for a pinch better gas mileage but how it goes. I am sure a little more time on it and it will loosen up some and do better on the fuel (just a pinch past 600 miles on the truck now). We also had head winds all the way home, that didn't help the numbers at all. So far buring a pinch more gas is well worth it to me for a comfy stress less drive out there and back. [/#000000]
