Reintroduction of Anadromous Fish In NW Montana
#2
I Sadly feel it is too late for something like that to happen. We lost our last species in the White Sturgeon with the introduction of Libby Dam. I think the project would have to be massive, have everyone buy in, and have funding that doesn't currently exist. I also look at the predator situation in the Lower Clark Fork with Lake Trout, Northern Pike, and Walleye being major obstacles for migrating Steelhead. I think it's a nice thought and would be cool, but is something I personally don't see happening.
