I do not know anyone in this "discussion " but why does anyone have to get criticized for an opinion , or worse have their words twisted because of it. Forums are for exactly that opinions on everything ,tackle, methods and yes other peoples opinion. If I am wrong I am scre- - ing up royally.
I see NOWHERE where Avery twisted something, was lazy, had his butt hurt ect. He repeated a statement and his opinion on that treatment - period.
Is it normal for a business to treat their best customers better, of course unfortunately. I do not think Tom was " misleading " Avery just not being 100% truthful saving better info for the best customers.
Now as far as Tom saying "oh if I new you we're going to spend that much I would have told you to go to "X" in the first place" my personal opinion is that was very dumb , sort of speaking without thinking. Certainly not a way to gain new customers. I know if it was me, my money would go elsewhere - even if t cost more.
I would venture that if those defending Tom had that happen to them in a store they patronized 2-3 times they would of taken offense also. It's noble to defend a friend - it was unnecessary to belittle anyone. Why not acknowledge your friends mistake and say he's a better person than that and try to give him another chance.
I apologize if I offended anyone with my comments, feel free to critisize my post.[crazy]
