In that case I would just use a small swivel and a fluorocarbon leader. Still get the same great casting distance plus when you are pulling in a empty line with a sardine on it you won't get any line twist on the Nano. That stuff doesn't like line twist.
I use straight braid for drop shotting (10lb) and not a issue. Sometimes as much as 25% of our catches on a day out are on a drop shot. But it isn't the white braid line. Still more visible that fluorocarbon but results say don't worry about it.
