Fishing Report and Misc.
#2
I have not tried it on finesse type of scenerios. But my daughter has 12lb Nano on one of the rods she uses for crankbaits (spinning rod) and she catches just as many as me if not more than me and I use Fluorocarbon. I see lots of guys on Bassmaster/FLW TV events using Nano on their spinning rod set-ups. At least I am fairly sure that is what they are using. Can't think of anything else that would be white. Also there is several shows devoted to Walleye fishing that swear by Nano and do great, at least on TV, catching finicky Walleyes on jiggs/vertical fishing, etc. I also see a lot of the guys fishing the FLW Walleye circuit on TV using Nano too.

I can see the stuff really great in the water so makes me a pinch nervous too but the results for us say otherwise. Unless the fish we have been into don't care.

So far happy with the stuff. I did run 6lb for a bit last year when it first came out on one of my trout rods and did fine catching Rainbows but even though I was running a ML rod the zero stretch thing was killing me on Rainbows. I snapped off quite a few on lures on the hook set. Even with a light drag setting it was just too much of a solid hit. Went back to mono for trout fishing and did much better on the catch ratio. On the other side casting distance was just silly with 6lb Nano verse 8lb Mono. I bet somewhere around 30-40% longer cast distances with Nano on.
