Fishing Report and Misc.

Sorry. My "Enter" key is not working so this will look like one long paragraph. Been out a few times in the last week at the the 33 Hole area. Broke my new Shimano Sellus pole the other day, so while replacing it with a Team Daiwa T model (I am not so much about all of the expert features, I like the style and the handle on their spinning rod. Its a dream to use), which has been a great rod, I also tried out some of the new Nano line from Berkeley. Casts great, smooth, great feel. No fish. Went back to 12 Lb fluorocarbon and all is good. The nano line was, I think, just so visible. Unlike what is said it was supposed to be: Invisible. Anyway, fishing was good but not great in the later afternoons. Not a lot of wind (ok, no wind at all) which is not good for me and my boat since I really need to anchor. Tried out one of my fall/winter spots not in the Vegas wash area and actually caught a few stripers. Also caught about a 2 lb small mouth there. Been fishing there for 5 years and never anything but stripers and occasional catfish. Small mouth was a surprise! Anyone else have any luck with the new Nano line? Love how it cast and how it felt but just no fish at all.
