But, I do believe no one can guess the weight of a fish. Come close maybe, but if the fish is in the water, no way.
Now length, much easier. Stick a rod next to it, pull along the side of a boat/tube/pontoon. Put something next to it.
Had a disagreement awhile back when a claim of 5 lber was made and I reference a bag of sugar. I was told it was not the same?
I will say you can guess close with length and girth, but again under water, not so much. My friend that caught the 10lber at H with a 17" girth. Scale on hand was 10.4
