Fishing was hot hot hot Saturday up north. Madison was KILLING me. Bet she had 15 in the boat before I had 3 today. Ended up catching 61 fish and that was with some swimming and messing around in non-productive water checking it out. Maybe 20 Stripers, 30 Smallies and 10 LMB. Something to that effect anyways. Will post up some pictures tomorrow when I get them off the phone.
Madi tried topwater for the first time and just killed me. Dunno what she does or if I just gave her that one color that they liked. I only had two LC Sammy topwaters and she tossed the shad colored one and I tossed the silver/blue colored one. I guess the same for 3XD cranks. Both dam near the same yet she was outcatching them 4:1 or better to me today. A wild guess says she caught at least 40 of those 61 fish today. I did catch all the quality sized ones though [

We also tossed around some worms near the end of the day and again for her fist time nailing LMB on worms in the more shallow water like a pro. I never toss worms since I am a power fisherman but decided the spot/area we were in looked impossible to work any other way so I tossed some weedless senkos and did well. First time for both us of catching LMB on worms on Lake Mead. (Other than dropshotting which I do a lot.)
