It was a great tournament. I fished it as a AAA and ended up 41st (out of 128) or so with 24 lbs. The pro's I drew were not real impressive and my second day pro basically sunk me by pitching jigs in the same three coves all day in swallow bay. [crazy] I caught 8 of the 14 keepers my teams weighed in with my biggest fish just under 3lbs. Many of these anglers do not understand what it takes to put together 10 lbs for 3 straight day's on Mead. There certainly is some home field advantage there. I definately won't fish it as a AAA again, although I did have a good time, I definately prefer running my own boat. Those sacks you are putting togther are quality and you should deffinately consider doing some tourneys. The Bass Anglers Federation meets every month at BPS and is real laid back and you can always just try it as a co-angler or even as a boater. I have seen targas in both BAF and Anglers Choice Pro Series events.
