I've always have had good luck from a boat up where the current dumps in along the shoreline with a tube bait or a fluke for bass. You do have to watch for the sand bars as they can stop a boat on a dime and give change. They also move around from year to year. I'll admit I haven't fished it for a few years since I no longer tourney fish.
