Personally, until main flows drop to 3k I'm not a fan of much wadding on anything above byington. I'll do a lot of it out of the boat during the summer but its areas I know extremely well. There are places in that river that goes from ankle deep to can't see the bottom deep in a half a step. Just a body of water that imo exteme caution is needed if you're hoof to wade it. Wearing a belt and a inflatable pfd are mandatory.
