So we pay for the right to fish empty lakes. What a deal. I agree, Utah is pretty good at raping the land too. It doesn't make it right though. Even if this is just a matter of the drought and nothing more, I was under the impression that the canal company was supposed to at least let the F&G know when they were going to drain one of the reservoirs so that they could attempt a salvage. Much like last time, it doesn't seem like they did.
And this isn't a matter of being out my $100. It's a matter of losing the best fishery in the area. Thinking about Condie in the spring helped get me through the long winters up here. Going there to ease some stress helped me get A's in school. Condie gave me something to look forward to when work, school and everything else was bearing down on me. It gave me a reprieve from all the crap in life, and now it's dead. It won't be back until I'm in my 40s. That depresses me. Well, if nothing else, Idaho still offers me good beer to drown my sorrows in [:p]
