This was brought up before, and if I remember right, in Idaho, you can catch you limit, take it home, once in your home, you may go back and do it again. In other words, you can freeze it, can it, bottle it. Utah doesn't have that. The limit is the limit till consumed.
Match, I was wondering the same thing, but I am not reading anything that says you can continue. But it is Henry's that points out you are done once limit is caught, not a general rule.
