State, tribe break ground on new sockeye hatchery
#9
I am hoping that this will realy booste the numbers. the sockeye spend less time in the ocean and seem to be responding better with the new broodstock programs. I fished redfish lake last year on laborday weekend and saw sockeye swimming free in redfish lake. That is something i never thought i would see. I agree without the Indians conservation and programs were would these fish be along with our other ocean going fish.
