I went down to the tressel last night to try my new used toon and that water is so warm now. I think you would be fine camping on your islands and the moon was so bright I'd almost dare try a night fish venture. I need to get some better bait though no bites last night. Well had a nibble on a jig but missed it. These quick trips after moving pipe are killing my non skunked streak. I went from ice fish'en till this last week without a skunk now I've got two back to back. Sad part is the fishing should be good now. Maybe next trip I'll get go'en on a win streak again. Oh by the way love the toon, its a Bucks Bags Colt and is pretty light weight for a toon. I got it for back packing into high country lakes. Should be much lighter than my Creek Co ODC 616. Doesn't have room for too many bells and whistles but this ones strictly for floatation and carrying ability and it seems to work for that. Plus it was old beat up and not too expensive so it works for me. Later J
