Incidentally, I tried out the mono yesterday. Mono worked pretty good as a stop, but didn't cast as well as I'd like. It seemed to add a bit of resistance sliding through the eyelets and coming off the reel.

Something not quite so stiff, but that will cinch down tight and not slide. You wouldn't happen to have about 3 extra feet? I'd be willing to pay the postage if you did..... all $.42 worth...
