I don't think your wrong about this being a bragging board. I think that happens to a certain extent anywhere a fishing conversation comes up. However I think there are a lot of people who are here for education on different types of fishing and different types of fish. There are also those who come just to read a good report for entertainment.
Are there downfalls, absolutely. I can't speak for anyone else, but I can say that for me the good still outways the bad.
The number one thing for me is the really great people I have met both on line and in person. I hope over the years I can share a fishing hole with many more of the good people on BFT. I don't want to fish with all the good people on BFT at the same time
