I did go and buzz by Stewarts and not a chance of fishing that South tip that I said I would check out for those thinking of going up there to shore fish. There was people on every cove up there camping, etc. I won't fish anywhere someone else is. Especially people shore fishing. With the water on the lake going down and down those coves sure are smaller from the last time I was up in that area fishing. We did go several miles north of Stewarts on the west side and did well on the LMB. Areas one could get to in small boat/canoe.
Also I drove up the 15 and took the Valley of Fire road in. Fun road in the dark (NOT). lol Not any faster at all to get to Echo and it is 6-7 miles longer of a drive verse driving up Northshore road. It would be a pinch faster going to Stewarts but not worth 8 bucks plus the time one has to take to stop and fill out the envelope you are at a wash.
