I tried one time to make a gravity filtration system but couldn't ever get over the taste of old ash seeping out the cheesecloth bags. There was also too much phosphorus in the samples and it was way too expensive to chlorinate it to kill the stuff that comes off your back side. But hey, at least I gave it a solid try for the better part of a year.
Say, now that ya brought it up, can anyone get their hands on them reverse membranes? I'd definitely drink it again if I could run it through one of them.
