I would argue the claim that Riries perch aren't very big when comparing to Roberts. They definitely aren't Cascade big, but averaging in the 9-11" range the last few years is nothing to scoff at. As for finding some I'm no good at it this time of year it seems. I will usually do better later on. However I have been told to try all the little side coves anywhere on the res and if you find one there are usually plenty more.
