Got up bright and early Saturday to get on the mountain(Northern Region) Flat tire on the truck. [
] Changed that and ended up getting to the mountain 45 minutes late.[pirate]Drove to the top of the mountain but all the draws and points full of hunters. We decided to go down to an empy knoll towards the middle of the mountain. Got out and started getting my gear out when my son (14) informed me he had spotted some deer about 100 yards away. Next he informed me there were 3 bucks and 2 does. I asked what he was waiting for and he shot his first Utah buck (filled a Wyoming tag 2 weeks ago). It was a small 3 point, but he was still real pleased with himself. I shot a nice two point that didn't have the good sense to run away. Had everything loaded up and back in town by 10:00 am. It's been a long time since things worked out that well. Guess a flat tire isn't always bad....[
