F&g use to do a great job stocking fish in all the creeks 20 years ago you could go to any creek east of I.F. and catch BIG browns/brookies rainbows. Now their heads are swelled up thinking cutts are the only fish and thats all they plant in the creeks. Then they make it so you cant keep any cutts. in any creek. You can catch them and kill them but you cant keep them.If you are an adult and can fly fish great but if you wont to take a kid fishing they have to use bait and that means DEAD fish! and disapointment for the youngsters. Gee wonder why less kids wont to go fishing????? Their responce to me was Ryder pond. Who what a great outing camp with 80 plus people walking around a 200 foot pond watching car go by man that is not taking a kid fishing to me .And they WONT get excited about fishing and continue fishing. The native cutts what a joke!!!! They have been gone for years every cutt. you catch you can follow it back to a hatchery. Quite killing the rainbows (wasting the sportmans money we give them to pay so called fisherman to clame a bounty is this what we wont f&g to do with our funds???? Think about it!!!
