Yea I agree it's much more work to locate the good fish on a large lake like that. With a pond, from the bank, it's really hit and miss, you catch a big one every once in a while and few regular ones here and there when ya go.
But on a reservoir when ya finally find em it's worth the time spent because you can usually wear em out! Looks like you guys had one excellent trip from those pics you uploaded.
I might have a nice truck and boat again someday. My ex-wife got my stuff in the divorce and I'm not even close to getting back to the point where I can go on those kind of fishing trips again.
