That is one of my favorite things about the Weber River. There have been many times where I sneak up to the bank and can see over 13 Browns holding up behind a downed tree. I cast out the Rapala and watch the feeding frenzy begin. Then after tricking a few they seem to loose interest. That is when I throw a spinner or marabou and then get a few more interested browns to bite. The big ones are smarter though...if you can see them...they can likely see you. Most my 15+ inch Trout bite far away or when I am using cover. If only they would drop those flows back down to what they were around mothers day!
