+1 D-Hunt!!!! I would eat 15 of your rotten egg skeins before I would think about swallowing one of those F&G Harvest reports. They are just a bunch of their ever-increasing overblown propaganda.
For the comparatively small role they play, IDFG does a heck of a job with what they have to work with, and I commend them for that, but the way they market it is the absolute pits to say the least. They treat it like they are selling a piece of meat. It makes used car salesmen look like the model of integrity and genuine-ness.
If the Marketing team here at Juniper Systems could take a 6 month training course from IDFG on how to effectively and succesfully market a product (including one that hasn't even been produced yet), we would make Fortune's 500 list every year for the rest of eternity.
I am going to buy an out of state season fishing license, steelhead tag, and salmon tag every single year. And as soon as you can catch fish, I am going to be making the 7 hour drive to Riggins every weekend until its over. But I can make that decision for myself. Don't make up a bunch of bologna about how this is going to the 1st 2nd or 3rd best year on record and announce it every year in January when no one really has a clue how many are coming. And don't go posting up a bunch of make-believe numbers of dead fish when anybody with half a brain knows it wasn't anywhere near that good.
