i hear ya on the fish and game report. i question it all the time. i fished the little salmon in june also the water was raging and pretty colored up. there was hardly any one else fishing. i did find a few fish however sucked in to the bank on the opposite side of the river. it was pretty nutty ripping those fish across that main current from the other side. i had one almost spool me out about 75 yards down stream. i had to do something or just count my loss. i pumped and reeled that fish all the way back to me and landed it. that was crazy.
