Your dad is right. Internet safety is important. Many of us on here know FlyGoddess and know she is OK, but you should stick with your rule, and let your dad make that judgement.

FlyGoddess is an amazing fly tyer and you can learn a lot from her and many others on here. Something that might help would be if you posted a little more detail on what fly or kind of fly you would like to tie. Then we could help you out on what to use and how to tie it.

Maybe your dad can come up with a neutral address that you can use. Like to your user name but care of a work address, or an adult friend or relative's address, or some thing like that. If he does, only send that in a private message, don't post it on the main board.
