Weber in Riverdale
#1
Hit the Web behind my house in Riverdale for about an hour on Tuesday. That stretch of the river has proven to be the bane of my existence so this short trip I was just wading in the wonderfully cool water and reconoitering any spots i could find to hold fish. Ended up with 1 brown, 1 bow and a whitie and lost a couple more. I always see whities down there and I know there are trout there but not in high densities. What do you all think the problem with that stretch of river is? I think it has alot to do with water quality but when was the last time it was stocked? Pressure down there has to be another influencing factor. Also I went back out at dusk just to see if anything was hatching and to my amazement i saw some BIG yellow mayflies. I looked it up and guess its a hexagenia. They were around size 10/12.
