Pack/Travel rod and reel set up?

Huh, we have had the Daiwa in the house for many years and semed like a great set up, in that it is still used to this day, but maybe the quality has gone down hill.
Read the reviews of the rod you posted, mixed reactions and likes, but some say they have caught Bass and Pike with it. Be sure on the warranty also, I bought a fly rod a few years back that was a Cabela's. Had no warranty and when broke, they offered no solution, or repair.
