[#0000ff]I would recommend stainless wire in .022 to .026 size. That is heavy enough to handle any fish you are likely to every catch on a dropshot rig but is light enough that you can work with it without having to have a special wire making tool. You will need only a pair of round nosed pliers, some cutters and a bit of practice to make nice round loops.[/#0000ff]
