Tying flies

You want length, use a different feather, not Marabou. Use Schlappin.
You can use and tie whatever you want, no set rules and you will catch fish, I am just passing on what the GREAT Tiers have passed on to me. "LESS IS MORE" You don't want a big clump of marabou for a tail.
Use Saddle hackle, schlappin, or raddit.
Most Bass Poppers are Saddle hackle, or synthetic though. Note, Marabou is used but as I explained:
