That IS quite a generalization there, dubob.
I dare you to find spelling, grammar, or syntax errors in my 18-year-old's posts here on BFT, (username MeGustaPescar,) or even in writing done by my 14-year-old.
Yes, there are a lot of issues with the tech generation and their command of the English language. But my grandfather had a hard time filling out his own checks, and he passed away almost 3 years ago, at age 96.
The simple matter of age I think is less relevant to the issue at hand than the love of books and reading. Show me a kid who loves to read, and I'll show you a kid who'll be able to write well, no matter his or her age.
