Hello,
Thanks for the news on Oneida. Altough you were hoping for walleye it sounds like you had some fun fighting fish at least! What were you fishing with to get the bass, trout and sucker to bite? I have not fished for walleye in Idaho as of yet, but have had tremendous success back home in S.Dak tossing Northland Whistler jigs tipped with worms, leaches or minnows, chucking Shad Raps at wind blown points and of course drifting with a spinner/bait rig if they were deep enough.
One more question for you... What did you mean by getting straggler walleyes before they were back to the norm? Is post spawn and summer walleye fishing bad on Oneida?
